iCloud:

How to share your photos from iCloud

If you have a lot of photos to share from your iPhone/iPad, there are two good options. You can save and share your photos with either:

  1. a regular album in your Photos app, or

  2. an iCloud shared album.

Not sure which one is right for you? Here’s the difference:

  • A regular album is best for one-time sharing with us. You can take your time adding photos to the album, and then when you’re ready send us a link to the photos you saved in the album (instructions below).

  • An iCloud shared album is best if you want to

    • send us more photos later (you can keep adding photos to the album, and we’ll be able to see them), or

    • if you already have an iCloud shared album set up with all the photos you want to share for your Shortcake Album (perhaps you use it to share photos with family and friends). You can simply add us to this shared album and be good to go!

Which type of album do you want to use to share your photos?
